Separation has been the reality for many of us these past 6 months. Families unable to visit coworkers teaming remotely, and months of uncertainty that continues today. The Jacob’s Well team in Brazil hasn’t been immune to these impacts and September was an opportunity to bring the leadership together at the training center for a special time with Renato. The team left that training with greater unity as well as a more focused vision on planning and organizing for future growth.
Planning has been busy in the U.S. as well, with the Board of Directors working on communication and fundraising plans for the balance of 2020 and beyond. Thank you for your faithful partnership with us this year! Below are a couple of updates from each community.
Riacho da Porta
The coop continued to purchase and plant new pepper plants that have been effective in building local sales. Ricardo started a new Bible study at the church and the community members have benefited from the teaching.
Santo André
Project planning was a key activity for September, and the community farm development continued to provide more value.
