Spiritual Transformation
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:36-38
EvangelismTo Go with a Mission!
"Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life."
John 5:24 Reaching the lost with the Gospel of Christ is of the utmost importance. Jesus said in John 14:6; "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father expect through Me."
We have been "called out of the dominion of darkness and have been conveyed into the kingdom of the Son of His love." Col. 1:12-14 Since we have found the marvelous light of the Gospel, we have the command, yes, privilege to help others lost in sin to find their way out of spiritual darkness. And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. "GO" therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28:18 |
DiscipleshipTo Enable Others!
"If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples."
John 15:7-8 Why is discipleship important? Discipleship is important because we want people to become fully committed followers of Christ.
Before Christians were called Christians, we were actually called “Disciples.” A disciple, in the time of Jesus, was someone who followed and learned under a teacher, or “rabbi.” Discipleship helps believers to grow in their faith, to grow in maturity and wisdom, and build their faith on a strong foundation so that they can then disciple and lead others towards Christ. "You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also." 2 Timothy 2;1 |
Church PlantingTo Live as a Christ-centered Community!
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
Hebrew 10:24-25 The church is multifunctioning to bring the Kingdom of God to the world and to the lives of the individuals within it. Furthermore, the church was been given a specific role and intention from God.
The church is, the manner in which God establishes His rule and reign on earth. The local church is the gathering in which believers meet. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD!” Psalms 122:1 |
