Kirk Olds

CO-Founder/Secretary of Board

Kirk is a licensed professional engineer in Colorado and California and is currently the manager of Water/Wastewater Engineering and Project Management for Colorado Springs Utilities. He has over twenty years of progressive engineering and engineering management experience in municipal and industrial water and wastewater infrastructure including collection, conveyance and treatment systems. At InterVarsity’s Urbana missions conference in 1990, Kirk was impressed that bringing the basic human need of clean water to the poor and needy of the world would become a central element of his life. Since that time, Kirk has served on missions teams to Haiti, Guatemala, and Mexico. For Kirk, there is little more exciting than to use his engineering and leadership skills to bring sustainable water and natural resource development to the underserved population of the world as a member of the Jacob’s Well team. Kirk is married to the love of his life, Brenda and enjoys the “craziness” of raising three boys in their home in Black Forest giving him plenty of opportunity to pursue another of his passions – the outdoors.
